James Ashe
James Ashe (he/him) is a professional illustrator who creates illustrations for children and young people. He’s been drawing since he was old enough to hold a crayon. Many years later, he draws digitally in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and occasionally experiments with traditional mediums. He has an emphasis on telling stories within his artwork, and also using illustration to share his view of the world, his own experiences, and the lives of others.
Throughout his career James has worked with Belfast City Council, Belfast Film Festival, Creative Mornings, Dublin InQuirer, The Liminal Space, Northern Ireland Screen, PricewaterhouseCoopers NI, Somewhere: For Us, Strand Arts Centre, Totally Dublin, and the University of Atypical.
